Team Barracuda
Team Barracuda is comprised of five Computer Science and Engineering Undergraduate students from the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). The Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) is our senior design project in which we must build an AUV that will compete in the AUVSI Competition (Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International).
Our Mission
Our goal is to build an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle that can competitively compete in the AUVSI Autonomous Underwater Vehicle Competition. The vehicle will be UTA’s first attempt to enter the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) competition. The AUV will be built according to the rules of the 2008 AUVSI competition.
