Chassis:
The shape of the vehicles's chassis is designed similar to an actual submarine. When the vehicle is submerged, the shape of the chassis reduces the hydrodynamic drag which allows the vehicle to move faster. The chassis is built with a clear cast acrylic material.
Computing:
The Athena board is an embedded CPU board with a Pentium III 400 MHz processor. It allows video and audio capabilities, ethernet, analog i/o, serial ports, flash memory, IDE controllers, and much more to maximize the vehicle's computing power.
